THIRD DAY FOR THE PROSERIES BEACH VOLLEY INTERNATIONAL TOUR
Womens matches begin the third day of beach volley matches. After the victory from the Koelliker/Vaiknemets team, Barbierik/Petrucha beat Monduzzi/Lah team

Today at 10.30am beach volley on the beach began with the womens second match for the Queen of the Beach title, Denise Koelliker from Sweeden and the Estonian Katri Vaiknemets who formed one team and played against the Italian Luna Pietrucci and Liisa Natus who formed another team. In the first set the Swiss/Estonian team took advantage of the match, Luna and Liisa tried to fight back but the first team won the set at the second match point to 21 – 15. In the second set the losing team tried to catch up but their opponents took control of the game, and maintained to do so up to the end finishing for Denise and Katri at 28 – 26. After a warm up the mens category went on to the pitch at 11.30am, EmanueleMonduzzi/Gregor Lah and Andrei Barbierik/Jaroslav Petrucha.
The first set saw the Monduzzi/Lah team take advantage but their oponents overtook them winning the first set 21 -17. In the second set Monduzzi and Lah recover and make a draw winning 22 – 20. Andrei and Jaroslav take the set to 15 – 7 winning through for the first time in Mondello.
Later on at 3.00pm another two matches are to be played with the brazilains and tonight at 10.00pm the semi – final match will take place.
